Fundraising Update
The fundraising department has been very busy so far and it looks set to become even busier!
Firstly a big thank you to everyone who has donated in response to Director's letter enclosed in the May edition of the Newsletter, the total sum raised was an amazing £3,287.00.
There has been plenty going on with our Curry Night for Charity - kindly hosted by the Natraj Tandoori Restaurant in East Reach, Taunton, another Genealogy Evening plus some exciting news regarding Sainsbury's in Billet Street, Taunton. (Click on the links for further information)
We have recently been awarded funding from Santander Foundation to cover the purchase cost and training of the Guide System software. To find out more click here.
Come and visit us at our stand at the Taunton Flower Show on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th August, we'd love to see you there!
Looking further ahead, Woodlands Castle, Ruishton near Taunton are very kindly hosting a Carboot Sale on Sunday 12th September to support the work we do.
Also, Somerset man, Reuben Wilcock, is doing a sponsored ride from John O'Groats to Lands End for Somerset Sight, raising money and awareness for our charity in September. Show your support by sponsoring Reuben and spreading the word! Click here to SPONSOR REUBEN!

Lastly, we have lots of street and store collections happening around Somerset. This is such an easy way of raising funds; could you spare two hours in your local area to help out? If you would like to volunteer, please let the fundraising team know!
