Qigong is an ancient Chinese exercise; a moving meditation which has been proven to relax the mind and improve health. The series of gentle movements in tune with the breath can be done seated or standing and the practice is suitable for all.
Qigong can be described as an ‘energy exercise’: Qi’ meaning ‘air / energy/ life- force’ and ‘gong’ meaning ‘work/exercise/practice. The union of mind, breath and movement promotes the flow of Qi (the vital energy that gives us life) through the Meridians (channels) in the body.
1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month or sometimes on a Monday
